The obvious question is, why does Twitter mess around with GIFs? Well, the company handles media that is not a photo in a unique way. However, on Twitter it is not that simple, and it’s all down to how the platform handles animated images. That’s a pain because usually saving a GIF is as easy as right-clicking the image and saving it. It doesn’t take long to find an animated GIF on Twitter, but you may have found that you can’t download Twitter GIF like you can on many other websites.
